The original Lladró box is a good thing to have. However, it is not an absolute requirement to sell your figurine.
In general, having the original box should not affect the value of your listing. We are in the business of selling figurines; not boxes. Obviously, some buyers will insist on an original box and it definitely does make for safer transport.

If not UPS, U.S. Priority Mail or International Express is a good choice. DHL Worldwide Air Freight does well for large boxes to/from exotic destinations.
